Refurbishment of Existing Salon for Royston Blythe
Royston Blythe's salon in Compton, Wolverhampton, needed updating but with a tight constraint: the refurbishment had to happen in the shortest possible time to minimise loss of trade for a working business. The brief called for a minimal, open, airy salon, with touches of glamour and luxury layered on top.

Our Response
At the centre of the design sits an over-sized, baroque-inspired table acting as the main cutting station. The salon is organised into two distinct zones: a light and glossy main space with 16 cutting stations, and a more subdued, relaxing backwash area. Splashes of colour break up the otherwise minimal palette through large, opulent pendant lighting and giant tulip artwork, adding a sense of glamour without overwhelming the space.
The Outcome
The refurbished salon has gone on to become Royston Blythe's flagship location, home to an award-winning team specialising in beautiful, glamorous hair, with the venue consistently praised by clients for its luxury environment and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
