Hair Salon Refurbishment For Mark Leeson in Mansfield
A former Fads home decor shop needed transforming into a boutique-hotel style hair and beauty salon for award-winning stylist Mark Leeson. The project represented an expansion of an already successful business into a new direction to include beauty treatments and called for a design that would mark a genuine departure from the established minimal salon aesthetic of the time.

The design took a strikingly contemporary approach, layered with moments of exotic, tranquil atmosphere more akin to a boutique hotel than a typical salon. The finished layout accommodates 20 cutting stations, 5 backwash basins and 2 dedicated beauty treatment rooms, giving the business genuine scale to support its expansion into beauty services.
The Outcome
The result is a boutique-hotel style salon that broke from the minimal salon interiors typical of the period, giving Mark Leeson's expanding business a striking, distinctive identity to match its ambitions in both hair and beauty.
