Industrial Site Masterplan in Telford
As part of overall site master-planning, the brief was to work closely with the client to develop their original vision for the whole site, improving the overall layout for better day-to-day operation, alongside enhancing the manufacturing process, site access, safety and containment. A particular focus was the existing main entrance, which required a complete redesign to improve site containment while increasing control over vehicles, deliveries and visitors, all while the site remained fully operational throughout construction.

We investigated numerous options for new building locations, relocating existing facilities and maximising site capability, looking in close detail at how the site actually functioned day-to-day and where genuine improvements could be made to operational safety and efficiency. For the main entrance, we developed options to replan the entire area while maintaining full control of the site throughout construction.
The Outcome
The proposed layout introduces new dedicated roadways and vehicle routes, enhanced facilities with additional control, improved parking and landscaping, and vastly improved pedestrian routes and access.
