We were commissioned to fit out this empty loft shell by these open-minded clients with a clean, minimal aesthetic, which was open and airy. The design was based on two interlocking circles, which created interesting routes, and spaces that dissolve into the glazed perimeter walls.

Because we used as few internal partitions as possible the planning allows full-length views across the apartment, as spaces that are defined are often done so by the use of raised levels.

Exposed services and ducting emphasis the New York loft feel whilst the use of glass blocks allows light to penetrate into all the spaces and also create visual connections such as between the bedroom and ensuite shower room.
