Mark Leeson, a well established, award winning hair salon wished to expand their already successful business into a new site, and to introduce beauty treatments into their service.

The design challenge was to create a very contemporary, yet exotic and tranquil environment which would appeal to the large existing customer base as well as encourage new clients to both hair and beauty.

The salon boasts 20 cutting stations, 5 backwash and two beauty treatment rooms, within a former home improvement store.

Working closely with the client at every stage, the space studio introduced a unique boutique hotel feel to move away from the sterile, minimal salon trend of recent years.
