The proposal is for 4 luxury new-build apartments on a site which is currently a series of back gardens, and derelict garages.
The design is based on two separate blocks which are joined in the middle by a dramatic triple height uncovered space which provides access. The size and proprtion of these blocks mirror those of the existing houses on the street, whilst also allowing the development to step back, again, reflecting the existing street pattern and urban grain.

Commercially the apartments make full use of the limited ridge height permitted by the planning authority as the first floor apartments also occupy the roof space to create large duplex apartments of greater value. External balconies provide private spaces for the upper apartments .
Aestheticaly, whilst clearly contemporary, the apartments respect the
context with the use of white render, whilst the timber boarding allows the buildings to appear to be folded up out of the landscape as the surrounding hard landscaping is timber decking.
The scheme also includes private off road parking spaces, and a large communal garden space.
