Loft 201,

This loft maximised on the glorious huge arched windows that offered views out towards the city. The area in front of the windows was left as open as possible as a living space whilst the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were tucked away on the inner side of the building.

...the design language was a minimal, clean, and light one that made subtle distinctions between the original exposed brick shell and the new interior...

The importance of daylight was recognised and the use of glass blocks allowed light to penetrate deeper into the space, whilst hidden light sources above the arched windows created the impression of daylight flooding into the space even on a dull day.
