In choosing an architect, we had two priorities. The first was not to give up on the possibility of exciting design just because I was a disabled  and the second was to select someone who could get us through the building process competently, efficiently and professionally. I chose the space studio in particular for responsiveness and the thoroughness of approach to project management and it was the right choice.  Aspects of the project have been technically complex not least because of the age of our victorian house built on a steep inc line but I always felt that there was both technical competence and the best support there. The process you have established is well thought through and serves to support clients through each project stage ensuring the detail of the project is fully addressed. It enabled you to incorporate our ideas but yet put them into a framework of good design and planning, building and cost reality so we could own and be proud of our new building.. As the work progressed I realised I could rely on the fact that you would keep in mind the best outcome for the project and us as clients right up to a successful and well managed conclusion. You have realised something which is special to us and seems right for the house.”
