Royston Blythe hair salon, Wolverhampton
Client: Royston Blythe
Status: Completed August 2008 |
Royston Blythe is one of the most prestigious names in the hair industry. The brief was to update an existing salon in the shortest possible time to minimise loss of trade, and to create a minimal, open, airy salon with touches of glamour and luxury.
The main feature of the salon is an over-sized baroque inspired table which acts as a central cutting station. The salon is split into two zones, a light and glossy main salon space with 16 cutting stations and a more subdued and relaxing backwash area. Splashes of colour are added to this minimal pallette through the large opulent pendants and giant tulip artwork.

- external awning and large topiary planters create a boutique hotel feel
