We are a vibrant, yet well-established RIBA Registered Practice that offers contemporary architectural, refurbishment, and commercial interior design services. We have 8 members of staff, which are split between the architectural and the interior sides of the practice.
The practice was founded in 2000 by Kevin Singh, a chartered architect, and interior designer Tony Kerby we have developed a strong design based portfolio across numerous sectors such as residential, higher and further education projects, community and housing association projects, cafes and restaurants, offices, hair and beauty, leisure, and listed building work.
The practice prides itself on producing quality, contemporary design which is fundamentally sound in terms of commercial factors, layout design, spatial qualities and practical concerns, as well as aesthetically and financially. Given the size of our practice, we are also very client focused, offering a personal service which larger practices are often unable to deliver.
The practice has had numerous works published, as well as staff being asked to write design articles for various publications including Building Design, Interior Design magazine, RIBA yearbook, Creative Head (hair and beauty magazine), and Architectural Design magazine. Our work in the hair and beauty industry has been published widely, predominantly in the Hairdresser’s Journal, Creative Head, Frizz, Real Salons, and Hair and Beauty magazine.
The practice’s technical team provide the necessary support and our in house Planning Supervisor can consider the Health and Safety aspects. We also operate a well-established Partnering arrangement with Birmingham City Council for Building Regulations applications.
Although the practice has been established for almost 8 years, as you would expect we have a vast range of experience working for other practices beforehand. We have brought the best of these experiences together in this, exciting, innovative and enthusiastic practice.
