Don Lee House is a wonderfully located social housing apartment block which required its communal areas updating.
We were commissioned to update the communal areas in a contemporary manner but without alienating the existing, predominantly elderly, residents. As such, the design process included a series of Resident Liaison meetings to discuss proposals and ultimately specify interior finishes. The entrance doors, main foyer, corridors, and stairwell were refurbished, as were the front doors and matwells for each individual property.
